For coaches at a club
Stop inventing next week's session
A few questions about your team, and you have a plan for the whole season: every training day worked out, with drills, timings and coaching points. When something changes in your group, you say so in a sentence and the weeks after it move with you. An assistant coach, in other words, who does the prep.
Free to start. No card.

The sports on TeamStride today
Each one has its own drill library, its own age categories and its own vocabulary. More keep arriving. Pick your sport and see what is in it.
The coach is usually a parent
Most youth teams are coached by a parent. Someone who played the sport, never did a coaching course, and agreed to do it for one season. Staffing is the part club boards find hardest, and the person in the hall on Thursday is whoever they found.
There is no shortage of drills. The order is the work. What you do in week three, why that is different from week fourteen, and what Saturday's match means for Thursday.
That order is what gets planned here: the line underneath the individual sessions. Every week has a reason to look the way it does, and the reason is written next to it in plain words.
How it works
01
You describe the team
Which sport, which age category, how big the squad is, how long and on which days you train, and when you play. And one open question at the end: what do you want to get to with this team. That answer is remembered and used.
02
A season built around your fixtures
Every week gets a theme and a load. Load drops into a run of matches and climbs again in a quiet stretch. Each week says why it is the way it is.
03
Every training day worked out
Blocks with a duration, a drill per block with the setup, how to run it, what to coach and what usually goes wrong. Plus the kit you need. Print it on A4 or take your phone into the hall.
04
One question a week
Did it go well, was it too hard, was it too easy. That is all, because nobody fills in a questionnaire. That single answer bends the weeks after it, which is why the plan still fits in November.
You can overrule it
At any point you can say what should be different, in your own words, about a whole week or about one session.
- Only eight are coming on Thursday.
- We have half a hall. The other half is the under-9s.
- This week can be lighter, they have exams.
- Too much conditioning. I want more with the ball.
- Ella is sitting out anything with jumping.
You see what changes before it is fixed, and a large change asks you to confirm it first. What you say about the team is remembered so you do not have to explain it again every month. You can read back what was remembered, and delete it.
Where it stops
Elite programming
Talent squads, national programmes, full-time athletes: this is not built for that, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Recreational through to serious competition at a club is well inside it, seniors included.
Anything medical
No treatment, no exercises to fix something, no view on when a player can return. What it does do: a player skips this part, or works alongside the group on something else. Taking load away is fine. Prescribing recovery is for a physiotherapist or a doctor, and that is who we point you to.
Where this stands
This is new. The 366 drills behind the sports above have been checked outside the product by people who coach. No clubs are using it yet. That is why there are no logos and no coach quotes on this page: they would be invented. What you can do instead is have a season built for your own team and judge it yourself.
The app is in Dutch, English, French and German. The drills are written and checked in Dutch and English. Every drill is now written in German too, but nobody who coaches in German has read it yet. A French reader gets the drill cards in English, and the session sheet says so.
What it costs
Starting is free and you do not leave card details. Before anything ever costs money, you hear what it is first.
For a club the price depends on how many members it has. We are setting that with the first clubs that come on board, which is why there is no figure on this site yet.
For clubsSee if it fits your team
The questions take a few minutes, and you come out the other side with a season for your own team.
